Senator Marshall Statement on Biden’s New Anti-Women Title IX Rule

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. released the following statement on the U.S. Department of Education’s disastrous overhaul of Title IX, which destroys long-standing equal rights protections for women and girls throughout the American education system:

“Joe Biden just erased over 50 years of progress for women that Title IX created,” Senator Marshall said. “In their never-ending pursuit to cater to ‘Trans’ Tik Tok influencers, the Biden Administration has undermined one of the greatest successes ever secured for female students and athletes. Biological sex is not negotiable, it cannot be replaced with ‘gender identity,’ and it certainly cannot be based on preferred pronouns. Today’s decision destroys decades of protections for women and girls across America, and opens the floodgates for men to share bathrooms, locker rooms, and compete athletically against our daughters.”
