Senator Marshall on Fox Business: Kamala Harris’ Failed Record
Wichita, KS – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. joined Mornings with Maria on Fox Business to discuss Kamala Harris and the Democrats’ motivations behind their open borders agenda, and offered an update on his investigation into Google after the company admitted it suppressed the assassination attempt against President Trump because it thought it was a “hypothetical act of political violence.”
Highlights from Senator Marshall’s interview include:
On why the Republican Party is the party that will put American workers first:
“Look, I think the union workers are looking for a home every day, every week, we have union workers saying, ‘who’s going to fight for hardworking Americans?’ And that’s who the Republican Party, I think, has become.
“Going back to the Covid lockdowns, those union workers started reaching out to us, and we reached back to them, saying, ‘what can we do to help you?’ Look, I was raised in a union town. Some of my best friends are union workers. My brother and lots of relatives were people that were in unions, so I’m going to continue to support them. They’re hardworking Americans.”
“The Democrat Party has left union workers. We’re embracing them, they have a home with us. We are the party of hardworking Americans.”
On Kamala Harris and the Democrats’ motivations behind their open borders agenda:
“This is all about elections. Don’t forget what’s happening already at the local election level. We’re seeing in Washington, D.C., again, California, other states, where they’re letting these illegal immigrants vote in local elections. So those have consequences as well. So it’s absolutely all about getting illegal immigrants they think that they’re going to be voting for Democrats.”
“They absolutely are registered to vote in local elections in Washington, D.C., California, and some other states. As long as you’re a resident there, they’re letting you register to vote.”
On Kamala Harris’ radical campaign platform:
“I’ve been doing lots of town halls. The number one, A and B concern is the open southern border and inflation. It’s the cost of gas and groceries for small businesses, it’s regulations as well, it’s the cost of insurance.”
“Look, where I come from, actions speak louder than words. She has a 20 year, 30 year political career of defunding the police, cashless bail. She represents lawlessness.”
“Elections have consequences. We are at a crossroads of this country. America gets to decide. Are we a land of secure borders of law and order? Are we an economy where we still reward competition, where we reward innovation and hard work, or are we an economy of equity, where we give everybody equal findings as well?”
On his investigation into Google for suppressing the assassination attempt on President Trump:
“This is election interference. Two weeks after the assassination attempt on President Trump, Google was still calling it hypothetical. Look, President Trump had a hole through his ear from the bullet. A man gave up his life protecting his family, two other people critically injured as well. This was not hypothetical.”
“This is not the first time. In all of our elections, we see Google suppress the Republican candidate. The more conservative you are, the more they’re going to suppress the search on you.”
“Google has to decide what they are. Are they the town square where anyone could go publish something, or are they going to sit there and be an editor as well?” “I am on the Homeland Security investigation type of committee on the Senate side, so we are asking Chairman Peters, who’s a Democrat from Michigan, to allow us to bring in the Google executives and say, ‘you explain this to us.’”
