Senator Marshall On Biden’s Blanket Pardon and Kash Patel’s Nomination for FBI Director

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. joined Fox Business to discuss President Biden’s sweeping pardon for his son, Hunter Biden. President Biden’s pardon abandons his previous promises that he would not pardon his son. Senator Marshall pointed out that the sweeping pardon covering 2014–2024 raises serious questions about the Biden family’s involvement with Burisma, and beyond.

Additionally, Senator Marshall discussed President Trump’s nominee for FBI Director, Kash Patel, to replace acting FBI Director Christopher Wray. Senator Marshall expressed his confidence in Kash Patel for this role.

Highlights from Senator Marshall’s interview include:

On President Biden pardoning his son, Hunter Biden:

“The first thing I did, I went back to 2014, what did we see? The [Biden Crime Family], involvement with Burisma. Burisma is the key to this and tracing that money to ‘the Big Guy,’ right?”

“More than just pardoning Hunter Biden, he’s trying to prevent any type of further investigation that’s going to lead back to him. But that’s why our job in the House and the Senate – now we can subpoena Hunter Biden, and he can’t take the Fifth [Amendment] anymore, so we’ve got work to do.”

On Senator Marshall nominating Kash Patel for FBI Director:

“On November 5, the American people said we do not trust the FBI, that it’s been weaponized. We need a change. We need to clean the house. Director Wray has been there, he’s been responsible for that. He’s overseen all of it.”

“It’s time for a big change – Kash Patel is the person to do it. He’s a man of integrity, he’s a person that believes in truth and justice. He has an incredible resume, and he’ll have the backing, I believe, of the full Senate when he comes through this process. We look forward to supporting him and Making America Great Again.”
