Senator Marshall Meets with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Nominee Kristi Noem

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. who sits on the Senate Homeland Security Committee, issued the following statement on his meeting with President Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary South Dakota Governor, Kristi Noem.

“Governor Kristi Noem will have an integral role as the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security in restoring law and order at our borders and protecting our homeland. President Trump and Gov. Noem will secure our borders, stop the free flow of fentanyl, fight back against the criminal cartels, and reverse the damage the Democrats’ open borders agenda has caused to our country. While she has her work cut out for her, I know that Gov. Noem is a fighter and will be a great leader at the DHS.”
