Senator Marshall Grills Airline Executives for Ripping Off Customers with Voodoo Rewards Programs

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. questioned executives from United Airlines and American Airlines over their misleading airline miles rewards programs and their lack of transparency over how these programs are funded. Senator Marshall pointed out these two particular airlines routinely underdeliver on their rewards programs’ benefits for consumers, despite taking massive corporate profits from these programs.

Senator Marshall also called out these legacy airlines for putting millions of dollars behind ads attacking the bipartisan Credit Card Competition Act.
