Sen. Marshall: This will be a scar on America for decades to come

(Washington, D.C., August 20, 2021) – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. was on Newsmax today to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, saying in part:

“The Taliban is giving us an August 31^st deadline for all practical purposes. The Administration’s focus need to be locked in on getting American citizens out of there right now – that we aren’t going to leave anybody behind. At first I thought this was an intelligence failure, but now I realize this White House sees foreign policy through the lens of politics and polling as opposed to what’s in the best interest of this nation… Why are we letting the Taliban push us around like this? This will be a scar on America for decades to come… It is just inconceivable what this Administration has done.”
