Sen. Marshall: This Administration is Making Vaccine Hesitancy Worse

(Washington, D.C., July 20, 2021) – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. recently appeared on FOX Business to discuss vaccine hesitancy and the censorship of COVID-19 information on social media.

“This White House owns vaccine hesitancy, and why they want to blame it on Facebook, I don’t know. All they had to do was drive the Trump Train that was full of Trump vaccines, but instead they sent out misinformation, they talked out of both sides of their mouth and now they own this problem… We did town halls this weekend and folks were much more concerned about their freedom of speech and the censoring that’s going on… Now, this White House wants to double down on censoring, jeopardizing my First Amendment rights… This [vaccine hesitancy] is now down to folks talking to their own personal physicians. We need to respect people that haven’t gotten the vaccine yet – the good news is that half of them already have natural immunity, they’ve already had the virus. If you haven’t had the vaccine yet, I respect you. Go talk to your doctor about the benefits and risks of it.”
