Sen. Marshall Releases PSA Warning to Kansans about Winter Weather

(Washington, D.C., December 21, 2022) – Today, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. released a video Public Service Announcement (PSA) warning Kansans about the incoming subzero tempe ratures and winter storm warnings across the state. Additionally, Senator Marshall launched a web page full of resources to help prepare your home for winter weather as well as resources for Kansans who are having difficulty affording their winter heating bills. Kansans are encouraged to visit https://www.marshall.senate.gov/winter-heating-assistance-resources/ to view the resources or to reach out and request help. Hello everyone! Senator Marshall here! Winter weather is headed our way and I want to be sure all Kansans are taking every precaution necessary to keep themselves warm and safe this holiday season.

You can go to my website – Marshall.Senate.Gov – to find resources and tips for safe winter travel. We have also provided tips for weatherizing your home to steps you can take to save on home heating expenses. 

Any Kansan that cannot afford their winter heating bills, I encourage you to use the resources we have provided on our website to reach out and request help for your winter energy costs. We know heating your home is going to cost all families more this winter and we have programs to help families in need.
