Marshall Joins Roundtable Discussion on the Politicization of the Justice System

Washington, D.C. —
This week, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. joined a roundtable discussion on the weaponization of Biden’s Justice Department against its political opponents. The conversation focused on how the Biden Administration is using taxpayer dollars to attack concerned parents at school board meetings, devout Catholics, and pro-life advocates. This comes in addition to the Democrats’ blatantly coordinated attempts to put President Trump behind bars.

Senator Marshall joined Eric Schmitt (R-MO), who led the panel, as well as Senators Mike Lee (R-UT) and Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and other leaders for the panel discussion.

“I’m stunned. I’m absolutely stunned to see the weaponization of this Department of Justice. I had no idea that the swamp could be so deep and so thick here. Donald Trump was living happily ever until he became the obvious Republican nominee, and suddenly the lawsuits came out of nowhere. The Attorney General’s district attorney is running on a platform of “let’s get Donald Trump.” This is why Americans don’t have faith in the government. This is why Americans feel like there is indeed this threat to democracy, and I’m honored here to expose some of the swamp that exists in this city.”

“I wish I could sit here and say, “oh, we’ll legislate this, we’re going to solve it by forming a committee and praying about it.” But we all know there’s only one solution: we need a different sheriff in the White House. If you want to secure the border, the only way is to get a new sheriff in the White House. If you want the price of gasoline groceries to come down, we need a new sheriff in the White House. If you want the Department of Justice to abide by the law, we need a new sheriff in the White House. It is that simple, and the hope is that November’s getting closer every day.”
