ICYMI: Senator Marshall on Fox Business: “They need to triple down on the protection for President Trump”

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. joined Varney & Co. to discuss the need for an increase in Secret Service protection for President Trump following the second assassination attempt and holding Google accountable for their continued censorship of conservatives.

Since Google first censored search terms related to the assassination attempt in July on President Trump, Senator Marshall has led the investigation into the Big Tech giant and called for Google to testify before the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Google must be held accountable for their blatant demonstration of bias and multiple attempts to manipulate public opinion.

Highlights from Senator Marshall’s interview include:

On Google’s censorship of Conservatives and President Trump:

“It’s worse than we thought it was. We, certainly for the first several weeks, we saw Google whenever you searched assassination attempt on President Trump, it took you somewhere else.”

“Just yesterday, we had a press conference here at the Senate, five senators talking about this very issue, talking about protection for President Trump…Of course, Google owns YouTube. Only 4,000 people watched it on YouTube, but their competitor, Rumble, had over 30,000 people watch it. Google is deflecting, using their algorithms to take people away from this topic.”

“We’re going to press Google with this particular topic, we’ve got inadequate answers from them. We would like for them to come forward and talk about the monopoly that they have and the censorship that they’re continuing against conservative thoughts and against President Trump.”

On increased Secret Service protection for President Trump:

“We don’t need to wait for a report, there’s what some 50 days till the next election. They need to triple down on the protection for President Trump.”

“We have over 7,000 Secret Service employees, they’re in over 100 offices. They need to reprioritize and send more and more of those officers to protect President Trump.”

“He works 16, 18 hours a day. He’s out there with the people, and he loves doing that, but he needs to be afforded the protection…simply enough, President Biden can say he needs the same protection that Joe Biden is getting, and it’s done.”
