ICYMI: Senator Marshall Hosts Panel on Protecting Children from Transgender Industrial Complex

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. hosted a panel today focused on the physical and emotional dangers gender-affirming care imposes on America’s children and highlighting the impacts of the Democrats’ trans agenda on our children. Senator Marshall and panelists discussed legislative solutions in Congress to protect children from the Left’s radical gender ideology, including a soon-to-be-introduced bill by Senator Marshall that would place restrictions on gender-affirming care for minors and impose strict financial penalties on physicians who do.

Joining Senator Marshall for the panel were Senator Tommy Tuberville, Congresswoman Mary Miller, Independent Women’s Voice Ambassador and former University of Pennsylvania swimmer Paula Scanlan, American Principles Project President Terry Schilling, and Heritage Foundation Senior Legal Fellow Sarah Parshall Perry.

“I dedicated my career as a physician to the health and well-being of the next generation. Never would I have imagined I’d have to fight harder in the halls of Congress to help save our children than I did in the delivery room,” said Senator Roger Marshal, M.D.. “Today we brought together a coalition of voices to sound the alarm on the dangers of gender-affirming care and to talk about solutions. I am looking forward to unveiling a legislative solution in the coming weeks that will prevent the doctors engaged in the gender-affirming procedure and mutilation and end the Gender Industrial Complex from preying on our nation’s children.”
