Senator Marshall Helps Evacuate Kansans from Israel

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall’s office is working around the clock to provide evacuation assistance to Kansans in Israel.

Over the weekend, Senator Marshall’s office assisted a Kansans’ family member in reaching safety after being stuck in Israel as the war broke out. All commercial flights were grounded, and the family was moved to a hotel bomb shelter in Jerusalem. Senator Marshall’s office quickly filed inquiries with the U.S. Department of State, and on Monday, the four individuals stuck in Israel landed safely in Turkey.

Senator Marshall’s office has since received multiple calls to help Kansans reach safety.  Our office stands ready to assist ALL Kansans in evacuation efforts to get everyone home safely from the heartbreaking situation in Israel. If you or a loved one need assistance, email EvacHelp@marshall.senate.gov or call (785) 829-9000.
