Senator Marshall Releases Video PSA on Ag Mental Health Awareness Campaign

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. released a video PSA during his Ag Mental Health Awareness campaign, a week dedicated to bringing awareness to resources for farmers and ranchers struggling with mental health. Working in agriculture can take a physical and mental toll on farmers, ranchers, and their families. Uncertainty about crop yields, the current drought in Kansas, skyrocketing interest rates and financial strain are just a few things that contribute to a high rate of mental health symptoms the agriculture community experiences.
