Sen. Marshall’s Bill Establishes Anonymous Hotline to Report Secret CCP ‘Police Stations’ on U.S. Soil

(Washington, D.C., March 28, 2023) – Today, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. introduced legislation establishing an FBI hotline for tips about any Chinese Communist Party (CCP) “police stations” operating unlawfully in the United States.

“The Chinese Communist Party is the greatest geo-political threat to our nation. Any actor committing surveillance, targeting, or spying of individuals on U.S. soil on behalf of the CCP must be prosecuted,” Senator Marshall said. “We will not tolerate any CCP operative undermining American law and order. This hotline will allow us to intervene and hopefully end the CCP’s unlawful ‘policing’ in the U.S.”

This legislation comes on the heels of the FBI’s recent announcement that they are investigating the Chinese government for operating ‘CCP police stations’ in the United States. Investigations into the CCP ‘police stations’ within the United States have found that Chinese authorities are carrying out ‘policing operations’ on American soil and have provided intelligence and aided the CCP.

Senator Marshall’s bill would establish an FBI hotline for anonymous tips about any persons trying to act as law enforcement agents or carry out the functions of a law enforcement agency for the CCP. These actions include surveilling, harassing, intimidating, coercing, or performing law enforcement activities in the United States on behalf of the CCP.

The bill would also establish a felony penalty punishable by up to 10 years in prison for such activity.
