Sen. Marshall Hosts Kingman County Town Hall

(Kingman, KS, August 29, 2022) – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall hosted a town hall event in Kingman, KS on Friday, August 26th. Over 80 Kansans attended the event and asked Senator Marshall questions about the issues that are most important to them and their families. Among the topics discussed were inflation, out of control spending in Congress, credit card swipe fees, veterans’ access to benefits they deserve, the Biden Administration’s student loan forgiveness proposal, overreaching federal regulations, the war in Ukraine, the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, and drought.

“It was great to speak with Kansans in Kingman County on Friday night. Throughout the event, we had meaningful conversations about lowering inflation, keeping our ag economy thriving, ensuring our military veterans receive the benefits they have earned, and much more,” said Senator Marshall. “I value these opportunities to hear directly from folks from across our great state so that I can take their stories and concerns with me when I return to Washington D.C.”
