Sen. Marshall Tours Ash Grove Cement Company’s Chanute Plant

(Chanute, KS, August 24, 2022) – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. was in Chanute on August 23^rd for a tour of the Ash Grove Cement Company’s production facility. During his visit, Senator Marshall spoke with employees and leadership about how the building materials supplied by this facility are manufactured.

“Ash Grove Cement Company plays an important role in stimulating the Chanute economy. There are over a hundred good paying jobs for Kansans at Ash Grove’s Chanute plant, and many local businesses in the area provide services that are used by the plant to support its operations,” said Senator Marshall. “I thank the entire Ash Grove team in Chanute for welcoming me into their facility.”
