Sen. Marshall Congratulates Sen. Moran on Passage of Historic Toxic Exposure Legislation

(Washington, D.C., June 16, 2022) – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. released the following statement following passage of Senator Jerry Moran’s historic toxic exposure legislation.

“Our nation’s heroes fought valiantly and risked their lives in countless battles throughout history. Unfortunately, many of those who returned home endured countless wounds from toxic exposures, which have put an immense toll on them and their families. As a veteran, then a physician, and now a Senator, I want to thank Senator Moran for his work to deliver this historic toxic exposure legislation – it’s because of his perseverance and ability to get things done on the Veterans Committee that our nation’s heroes will receive VA toxic-exposure care for years to come,” said Senator Marshall.
