Sen. Marshall: President Biden is Walking into Putin Meeting from a Position of Weakness

(Washington, D.C., June 14, 2021) – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. was on FOX News recently to discuss the G-7 Summit, President Joe Biden’s upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the border crisis. You may click HERE to watch the Senator’s full interview.

On the G-7 Summit, Senator Marshall said in part that President Biden’s “priorities do not fit with what Americans think is important. His emphasis, the G-7’s emphasis right now is unproven, expensive environmental policy that puts China first and America last. Instead we should be focusing on a strong world economy, on the origins of the Coronavirus, and focusing on how we stand up to China. I am very concerned about the priorities we are walking out of this meeting with…” You may click HERE or on the image below to watch this portion of Senator Marshall’s interview.

On President Biden’s upcoming meeting with President Putin, Senator Marshall said in part, “I am concerned that our President is walking into a meeting with the most powerful, one of the most brutal dictators in the world, and he’s walking in from a position of weakness. If you sit there and you are Vladimir Putin and you are looking at the national security situation for the United States, you think about two huge weaknesses: our southern border as well as the cyber-attacks that are going on… Here is a President [Biden] who is afraid to take questions from our national media and he is going to sit down with a powerful dictator – very experienced, very shrewd – does our President have the courage to stand up and hold Russia Accountable?” You may click HERE or on the image below to watch this portion of Senator Marshall’s interview.

On the border crisis, Senator Marshall said in part, “This is a crisis at the southern border in so many ways. It’s a national security crisis, a health care crisis, and a humanitarian crisis – the sex trafficking, the drugs crossing the border, and someday soon we are going to have more people crossing the border with COVID than spontaneous cases out in the United States. This is a problem that continues to grow… The United States has a great compassionate heart, but the Biden Administration turned this faucet on and they can turn it off just as easily.” You may click HERE or on the image below to watch this portion of Senator Marshall’s interview.
